We respect copyright and expect our users to do the same. If content on ShortPeak infringes work you own, tell us using the procedure below and we will act promptly.

Designated contact

Send copyright notices to support@shortpeak.tv. Put “Copyright notice” in the subject line. Notices sent to other addresses may be delayed.

What your notice must include

To act on a notice we need enough information to identify both the work and the material. Please include all of the following:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed — a title, registration number, or a link to an authorised copy.
  • The exact location of the material on ShortPeak: the full URL of the title or episode page. A screenshot alone is not enough for us to find it.
  • Your name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and — under penalty of perjury — that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

An incomplete notice slows things down: we may have to come back to you for the missing parts before we can act.

What we do next

  • We review the notice and, where it is complete and valid, remove or disable access to the material promptly.
  • We notify whoever supplied the material, and pass on your notice.
  • We record the notice against the account concerned.

Where a title is removed, episodes you unlocked with coins may become unavailable. See section 7 of our terms.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send a counter-notice to support@shortpeak.tv containing:

  • Your signature, name, address, and telephone number.
  • Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  • Your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live, or where our operator is located if you are outside that country, and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice.

We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after forwarding your counter-notice, unless the original complainant tells us they have started court proceedings.

Repeat infringers

We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright. Unused coins in a closed account are not refunded.

False claims

Knowingly making a false claim — in either a notice or a counter-notice — can make you liable for damages and legal costs. If you are unsure whether a use is infringing, take legal advice before filing.
